Line 1 Normal Civilian
[A1] Few people were willing to go and kill the giant. A rich man bought off the government and took prisoners from the prison to the giant’s home.
When Ali came home, a thin man with a bamboo basket was sitting at his door selling ginger.
Ali thought he was blocking his door, so he told him to leave here. But ginger man paid no attention to him and continued to sell ginger. Ali got a little angry and pulled the ginger man because Ali couldn’t get through the door. But ginger man fell to the ground and looked very miserable. Ali was so worried about him that took him into his house. Ginger man have not eaten for days as the price of their food, blue flowers, has soared. After eating something at Ali’s house and having a rest for the night, the ginger man gratefully left and went to the dock to take a boat home. Before he left, Ali gave the ginger man a piece of white silk as a gift.
The next day, a boatman pulled a cart to Ali’s house. There was something covered with a black cloth on the cart, along with the ginger man’s bamboo basket and the white silk. The boatman said that ginger man died on his boat. Before he died, he said that he had a dispute with Ali before, which caused his old illness. He asked the boatman to take the two tokens to the police. But the boatman added that if Ali would give him some money, he would promise not to tell anyone about it.
Ali feared that he would be seized by the police and turned into a prisoner. So he took out a lot of money and valuable things to the boatman. However, not long after the boatman left, the police arrived and Ali was taken to prison.
Shortly after he was in prison, Ali was chosen to be part of a team that killed the giants.
[A2] Unwilling as he was, Ali could not change that fact. He arrived the giant’s house with several prisoners. All the prisoners were terrified. The supervising police asked the prisoners to work in groups of two to find the giant as quickly as possible. The man who killed the giant could be released from prison. After some time, a huge shadow came closer and closer to Ali and his companions. Yes, a giant is coming. The giant sat on the ground and looked at Ali with very calm face. The giant asked Ali to kill him. Ali hesitantly raised his weapon in his hand. The giant closed his eyes. There was no pain in his face. Still, Ali did not dare. At the giant’s repeated request, Ali slowly approached the giant.
Ali had two choices: 1. Kill the giant decisively and get out of here
2. With compassion, he did not kill the giant, but his partner did
When the giant died, he became light particles , which floated up into the sky and touched the skydome. But the effect was minimal. The skydome was soon restored to its former shape.
Some say it is because there are not enough dead giants. It will need more giant deaths to eliminate the black skydome.
Leaving the giant’s house, the supervising policeman told Ali that he had been acquitted, because someone had proved his innocence.
[A3] Ali went home and met the ginger man. Ginger man said Ali was sent to prison because of the intrigues of greedy boatman. The boatman learned from the conversation with the ginger man that Ali and ginger man’s story , boatman bought the bamboo basket and silk from the ginger man. It happened that someone drowned in the river and the body floated on the surface. The ginger man and the boatman salvaged the body and left. The boatman found Ali with corpse, basket and silk, and blackmailed Ali. Then Ali was then taken to prison, and the boatman was rewarded by a rich man —- the boatman for increasing the number of prisoners in the prison.
Ali was sad. He thought of the dead giant. If he had not gone to the giant’s house, perhaps the giant would not have been found and might still be alive.
Suddenly, someone exclaimed: What is that ?!
Ali looked out of the window. A huge beams of light shot into the skydome.
